Why are we so damn dissatisfied ALL THE TIME!

Hi. So, you’re here because you’ve been asking yourself for a long, long time now…
“Why am I never satisfied?”

And you’re right to ask that question—because, really, why aren’t you satisfied?
You’ve got a roof over your head, a loving family, a job that pays the bills, internet access (because how else are you reading this right now?), and some of you are probably even working on (or have already achieved) your dream goals.

So…
WHY ARE YOU UNHAPPY?
Why do you feel empty?
What is missing?
What is that one thing that still keeps you from feeling full in your heart?

After years of searching for meaning in external things—achievements, material possessions, relationships—I realized something life-changing:

My satisfaction was never tied to any of those things.

I always thought that if I just got this next thing, I’d finally be happy and satisfied.
But when that thing came, I still felt incomplete.

And now, I think I’ve cracked the code to this problem.

Do you remember how life seemed more colorful when you were a kid?
Do you remember when your birthdays took forever to come?
A year felt like an eternity.

And now?
We blink—and suddenly, we’re five years older.

You get where I’m going with this?

When we were kids, we paid attention to every little thing we did!
Even the mundane things—taking a shower, eating food, getting dressed—we were so into it!
We imagined things and made up stories during those tasks.
(I’m sure you’ve pretended to be an opera singer in the shower for your shampoo bottles—or hell, maybe you just decided to read the fine print on every. single. bottle mid shower.)

What did those little behaviors do?

They allowed you to savour every moment.
Even the boring parts.
They allowed you to LIVE.

So, when the fun parts of life came around, they felt extra exciting!
You enjoyed yourself a little more.
Why?
Because you allowed yourself to feel dull (even tried to make the dull parts interesting!)

Because of all this, life felt slower. You felt like you had all the time in the world.
Time wasn’t slipping through your fingers like sand.

But Now?

We’ve drowned ourselves in our phones, iPads, and computers.
Our brains are addicted to instant dopamine hits.
So much so, that even simple daily tasks—like eating—become unbearably boring without something playing in the background.

So what do we do?
We distract ourselves.

We scroll.
We binge.
We split our attention into a hundred tiny fragments—just so we don’t have to feel the dullness.

And the consequence?

Life has slipped us by.

We’re just going through the motions like a bunch of grey, emotionless robots.

WE NEED TO BRING SOME COLOR BACK!

HOW?!

👉 Do only one thing at a time.
No phones. I mean it.
Absolutely no phones, iPads, computers, or TV.

Just FEEL the moment.
No matter how boring it is. Feel it.
That’s the only way you’re going to feel more PRESENT.

Feel everything! Feel bored. Feel angry. Feel happy. Feel sad. Feel annoyed. Feel restless.

FEEL. EVERYTHING.
Start to live your life.
And I mean LIVE every moment.

That’s when you’ll start to savour your days again.
That’s when life will slow down.

You’ll start to notice the little things—
Like the sparkle in your child’s eyes when you give them your full attention…
Or the dimple on your partner’s cheek when they smile.

(And for all you single folks—you’ll notice the hidden aftertastes in your food, the spices, the textures!)

And that is the moment, my friends, when you will start feeling satisfied.

THAT is when life will become tasty.
